We thought there’s too many rules no food service at the pool no pool service at all. Dirty towels were left. Staff would walk by them and not take them away. Drinks were terrible very bad dining choices. All restaurants are located within the hotel. Only one is supposed to be waterfront, but has limited views.

We stayed at the Hilton Playa del Carmen in March of 2025. Overall we had a nice stay. The check in process was a bit slow as there were quite a few people arriving at the same time. Our room was in building 4. Which was quite a ways away from the beach and main pool area. It overlooked the “quiet pool” so if that is more your scene, I would recommend this building. Most of the rooms have hammocks on the balconies. Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed most of the restaurants, including Spice for all meals, Barefoot and Rincon Mexicano for lunch. The churro ice cream dessert at Ma Petrona was delicious. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment.

Property was very clean, maintained and excellent staff and service …. The only thing they need is better quality entertainment nightly which was not available.. but being a 2 min walk to 5th Avenue made you go out there for that .

This Hilton property stay has been amazing! I felt safe. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. There were plenty of classes and activities throughout the day, every day. I had a blast taking part in the aqua classes, so much fun!! The location is PERFECT, being right on the beach, and also just steps away from the famous 5th Ave! 24 hour room service made food super convenient anytime we were hungry or thirsty. Thank you for your amazing hospitality Hilton!

Good food, excellent service, and great entertainment. Enjoyed the pool and the spa. Beach is clean and not crowded, but has a lot of rocks in front of the resort. Would go back without hesitation.

The property is lovely, the beach is beautiful. There are lots of rocks in the ocean right in front of the Hilton, but if you walk a little further up the beach, there are no rocks and that makes it a little easier to get to get into the ocean. The staff are so friendly, and they work really hard. The Hilton is excellent.

It is a great resort. The staff couldn't have been any more accommodating and kind. The food was incredible and the entertainment was epic. The only downside was that the beach was small and the whole waterfront was difficult to walk with all of the cabanas, boats and other resorts build so close to the water. However not the fault of the resort just human buildup
