For me the best part was being able to walk outside in the city. The beach was not very good compare to other resorts ive been too. Service was great. Id say no issues. Only thing id wish was their hot tub to work properly.

One of my favourite hotels around the world! The staff is incredible, the facilities are well kept, and there is lots to do on the property and around the area! It’s a classy place that also has fun pool events and a great DJ in the lounge.

Hotel was clean. All staff were amazing whether by the pool or inside. The waiters at Spice were great - Demetrio, Sergio, Lucas and Jose. Only negative are the pool cabanas. They are almost obnoxious and they block the pool.

The food was great, and the staff were generally good. However, I didn’t like the beach. It was small for such a large resort, rocky, had a sewage smell, and was not private. The entertainment team was not very active, except during the foam party. Most activities ended around 10–10:30 pm, so the resort felt boring at night. I wouldn’t recommend this resort for younger guests or single travelers. The pool water was too cold. Another downside was the cabanas around the pool — they cost an extra $150 USD. If you didn’t pay, you had to sit very far from the pool, which was frustrating since the resort was already paid for. The room was clean, but the soundproofing was very poor. We could easily hear people in other rooms, as if the walls and floors were very thin.
This is 10pm and everyone already sleeping and you are getting bored!!!

We just got back from a week at this resort. We had a VIP package that didn’t provide us with any perks. Lovely resort. Well taken care of. Was surprised how good the buffet is. (I really don’t like them generally). Asian restaurant was very good. All staff was lovely and very accommodating. Rooms were well cared for and roomy. Particularly loved having our own hammock. This is a very pool-centric resort. The beach is very narrow, no chairs in the sand. Rough surf and rocky. The resort has a lot of rooms and not nearly enough chaises/cabanas. Being early risers, we found chairs our first day, but then spent the money to rent cabanas for the remainder of the week. We watched far too many people struggling to find a place by the pool. They really do need to reconfigure and add more seating. Like I said, it’s good if you spend the additional $150/day, but you shouldn’t have to do that at a resort like this. Pool drink service was great. Towels plentiful. Lots of activity poolside and always music. So fun atmosphere. There are two courtyard areas. One with pool and one without. Lots of empty cabanas on the side with no pool, because why would you want to be in a courtyard cabana? Poolside jammed. There is a swimup bar but it’s in a smaller and much colder pool. No thanks. Had to pay extra for the bracelet key. Give me a break. Lovely stay but not sure I’d go back bc I really missed spending time on the beach vs next to the beach.

I took our family of 8 ranging in ages 18-50. I had a fabulous time! The only bad thing I can say is that I had no idea there was information on the website for what activities were available each day. We just walked around and discovered things - but missed out on some of the events we would have liked to joined in on. I recommend Hyatt Vivid with both thumbs up. Three days is not enough time.

To be fair, everything else is good but the sound insulation of the suite near the road is bad. The roadside bar played music until 1am or 2 am. You can hear the music in your bed.
The bar that blasted music to the resort at 2am.
