The experience was wonderful and the view from our room was spectacular. The staff even put a special touch on our stay with not only acknowleding that my friend and I were celebrating a milestone birthday but also surprised us with champagne when we retuned from our evening out. First we entered into a super cold room with AC working (in the middle of the winter), when we switched into heating, we realized that it was broken. Reported the problem to the reception who sent the engineer to check it out and he said the compressor was broken and that there was nothing really he could do. We asked to change the room, and this was completely ignored. After barely sleeping because we were freezing, in the morning we again asked to change the room and we were told the hotel was full... No apology, no anything. I wish I had asked the receptionist name, because that level of rudeness was unacceptable. On top of everything, they informed us of 25$ destination fee, but explained we can us $15 credit in the bar or for breakfast which will be deducted from that destination fee... In the end we were charged both the destination fee and everything we spent on breakfast. Lastly, the location of the hotel was not that great and the rooms could have been cleaner, bathroom especially.
