Such a cute place to stay. Our check in was fabulous with front desk staff being so friendly. Easy and convenient to walk to many local wine bars and restaurants. Train station just 2 min walk away. The breakfast was amazing and too much food we asked for half the next day! Beds were comfortable. Shower was a little small if you are a bigger person. Would Recommend.

The chalet is a beautifully restored home with unique decorating located in the center of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast which is included is served at another site and was plentiful. It was a very pleasant stay.

Gracious hosts, comfortable, and charming.

Warm, accommodating, comfortable, convenient. This chalet, its hosts and owners, are welcoming and so kind. We were there during the infamous power outage, and it felt as if we were with family. Also, the setting is magical, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is excellent for exploring. If we ever return to Sintra, a stay at Chalet Saudade is an absolute given. Oh! One more thing: The breakfast at the cafe was absolutely amazing.

Absolutely charming spot from which to enjoy Sintra. Very welcoming and helpful staff. I had a north-facing room with lovely vies of the garden and forest beyond, with glorious birdsong each morning. Wonderful!

Lovely guesthouse hotel only 1 block from the train station. There are only 15 rooms in a former large private residence. Spacious room, no carpeting, modern bathroom. Very pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff. Convenient to walking into Sintra. Quuaint. Big room that led out to the garden area. Cons: lots of stairs. If you are immobile or have a hard time with stairs I'd suggest a room on main floor. Our room was on bottom floor and smelled a little musty.
