Stayed at the Maydrit because it’s close to MAD airport for an early morning flight. Heads-up: the first airport shuttle doesn’t leave until 6:00 AM, so if you need to depart earlier, you’ll have to take a taxi (flat rate ~28 EUR). Check-in was on the slow side—if there’s a line, expect to wait. Staff ranged from very friendly to somewhat indifferent, so overall service felt a bit inconsistent. On the positive side, the location is great for getting into the city. The walk to Metro Line 5 is quick and easy, and it takes you straight into central Madrid without hassle.

We had a great stay at Hotel Maydrit. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were great. What really stood out is the quality of the staff. From the reception desk to the restaurant, it was the best we received on our trip to Spain! Everyone was incredibly helpful and it made the entire process very easy. The metro is very close by so you can easily hop into the city to explore but also escape the crowds, and be close to the airport. Overall, it was a great place and we would recommend it to anyone.

Overall good hotel , old wooden beams and smell of rustic wood is not everyone’s favourite. Rooms are good size and bathrooms are good size . There are few restaurants around the hotel and Chinese takeaway with supermarket opposite. Metro is 2 mins walk and takes you to central in 20-25 mins .
