Boston Stay

Our experience at the Citizen M in Boston was nice! It is a relatively minimalist space, but very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay- fair warning there is not parking, so it is ideal for someone who is going to Boston without a car. Since it is connected to the TD center, when we arrived on Friday night late, a concert was ending and every street was blocked off leading up to the hotel (not the hotel’s fault!) I tried calling the hotel to get directions, but was unable to reach anyone. This is the reason why I am giving this review 4 stars instead of 5. Location is really great and convenient to North End!

Pros- was in a great location for walking to many of the tourist attractions (Freedom Trail, Little Italy, hop on trolley and subway station) and a short tram ride to Fenway. Cons- Small room, fridge and hairdryer didn’t work. Had to request wash clothes and a top sheet for the bed. No free coffee anywhere, limited breakfast with food being barely warm.

Nice stay

This hotel is in a great location for visiting Boston. Hotel has a clean fresh feel to it, seems new. Only problem is bed is large but can't get out without waking person sleeping on outside because it's a wall to wall bed. But had great stay anyway. Parking is not easy but we found a spot short walk.

Overall the hotel was nice, view from our room was terrible as it was facing the hvac area of TD Garden. Guess services was very helpful and friendly. Nice bar/lounge area with outdoor seating terrace overlooking city skyline. Security guard downstairs very questionable as he was buried in his phone the whole time and when asked questions he did not speak English!

We were able to get an esrly check in, which was nice. Staff was all nice. Bed could be more comfortable, there were some sunken in spots, but pillows were nice. The area was nice, and the rooms really quiet.

I loved the aesthetic of the decor right as you walk in and in the main level. The attention to detail without feeling crowded. Staff were friendly and professional while also helpful. My room was pristine and I loved the options available. New favorite hotel experience!
