The one guy who is younger and works at night at front desk is amazing. The place is dirty, run down, our room had multiple things broke. Definitely not worth it would never stay there again

The staff here are very kind and welcoming. The hotel itself is quite old and outdated, but our room was very clean and had a pleasant, fresh smell (no smoke odor). I still brought disinfectant wipes and cleaned the whole place. The hallways leading to the room were a bit dingy and gave off a slightly creepy vibe. Sound travels easily, and we could hear other guests coming in late at night. It’s a budget-friendly place, so we didn’t expect much and mostly just used it as a place to sleep after exploring Boston and Salem. Like others have mentioned, there is a noticeable homeless population in the area. Some homeless men come into the lobby to sit, and I did see staff ask one man to leave—he was polite about it, but it still made the experience a little uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for women solo travelers or families with small children, but for my husband and me, it worked fine as a simple, affordable place to stay.

We didn't have a room key the four days we were there. On our second day we had to wait 15 minutes by our door to get inside. we were told at check in we would have a key the next day but then heard the same excuse the next day.

This hotel did not have working room key cards. They blamed a software upgrade issue. Stuff happens. But if you're going to need a bevy of security guards to let you into a room, have them ready. The issue went into the second day of my stay. Still no solution nor guards ready to help. Seems like it was going for a while. The rooms were ok, beds large but it's rare to have non HD-TVs and I found the pillows and sheets uncomfortable. A bar look for the Wyndham brand with whom I've never had an experience like this before.

Stayed there for 3 nights without a key to our room because they said their system had been hacked. Never once did they apologize for the inconvenience or offer to discount our stay. The room was in terrible condition. The door was sagging and did not seal the room off from outside. The toilet was extremely loud when flushed. The shower didn’t have any way to collect the water to drain properly so the it soaked the bathroom floor every use. The hot water didn’t work properly the whole 3 days so we had to take uncomfortable showers. Upon checkout when I asked for a receipt they said that they couldn’t give me anything other than a blank receipt. Overall it was the worst stay we’ve ever had and had made us never want to book with Ramada again.

Hotel is dated with many unit addtions over the years now beyond the capacity of quaint front desk and intimate marginal area for complimentary breakfast when hotel is near capacity. Rooms are dated but maintained somewhat. For example, after a long day, returned to room finding room serviced but door unlatched due to defective door lock that was previously reported to front desk . No repair was performed, service attendant may have not closed/locked door due to defect.
