Overall we got a great room with a great view. But We asked for 2 adjoining rooms and called ahead to confirm. But when we checked in we did not get them. Instead we got a noisy party group next door that woke us up at 1am.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sonesta. We were only there for one night, but the location is great. It is on the river and in the heart of Boston. In addition to enjoying the River Walk, we were only steps away from shopping and restaurants and only about a 15 minute drive from TD Garden and the North End. We will definitely stay here again!

We had booked a King Suite for 4. Needed a pull out couch. Somehow we were given a king suite with no pull out couch. Staff held our luggage while we explored the city. A suitable room was provided with pull out couch. However we had to request pillows, blankets and towels. Everything was good afterwards. It’s just a lot of waiting after a long day of travelling.
