I travelled with my 14 yr old son for a match. 2 single beds were booked and confirmed to me via email but we ended up with bunkbeds after specifying i didnt want bunks. There were no towels in the room and no TV. Wouldnt stay here again. Its literally only suitable for putting your head down after a few drinks. Very cheap and cheerful

I booked to stay in one of the dormitories and had the typical noises of sharing in a dormitory. Good clean dormitory. Great to have free Tea, Coffee and Toast available at anytime. I would stay that I had a reasonable stay!

Was downgraded without even been told. Only why I asked why the room did not match what I had booked, was I told about massive damaged due to leaks. However, we should have been told in the first place. - : Curtains are not black out ! - : the bathroom energy saving switches off automatically after about 2 min often meaning you find yourself in the dark (even while in the shower). - : Wi-Fi only in communal area - : fixed and high shower head is very unpractical, wet your hair even if you don't want to ! - : no shower mat outside the shower is dangerous as there is bound to be water when exiting the shower. - : our bathroom door creaked a lot (room 2). - : only one seat (despite being a room for 2 people with a bunk bed) - : bare minimum: only toilet paper. Not even soap to wash hands. - : weekend can be a bit loud as some people smoke and talk right underneath the window (room 2). However sleeping with earplugs made it ok. +: hostel very well situated : very close to town center and train station (10min walk) +: secure building +: staffs were nice and helpful with directions + : clean

OK

I have to say the man at the front desk was very helpful and honest. We thought we may have to stay in a bunk bed room but he got us a twin as they had one available. The bed was ok, i didnt expect anything more but there wasnt any working heaters in our room and being that it was minus penguin outside it wasnt nice. Overal it done its job, a bed for the night before the merseyside derby but a working heater and a TV would have been nice.

At a good convenient part of Liverpool

Pros: Friendly and convenient
Cons: Needs longer time on PiR device in bathroom to operate light in bathroom.Light went off while in shower!!
Location: Close to cultural action and resteraunts
Staff were great and really helpfull Room was user friendly clean and tidy
