I arrived on Sat 1st June for one night to be in Liverpool for the Champions League Final.Got to the hotel for about midday to find out that we had to pay £10 for the privilige of onsite parking, not happy with this as doesn't state this on my booking.We then got our room and just found it very dated....hot water in bathroom sink "very hot" and cold tap broken.Dirty smell in corridors throughout the hotel.Don't think we'll be returning...

I needed to stay somewhere that was close to a training venue and cost effective, Hallmark Inn, Liverpool provided this. Polite and friendly staff. Accommodating to requests, efficient check in and check out. Room was a small single with en-suite but cosy and clean. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Was suitable for my needs.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Hotel room was comfortable with good decor. Samsung TV, Sound bar, hair dryer and kettle with tea and coffee provision. Bed was very comfortable and room clean. Bathroom was small, but had a great decor, with a bath and fabulous shower, which was a nice surprise. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have towels in our room, but these quickly provided. In an easy to get to location. Ten minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street station and city centre, away from the crowds and noise. Breakfast was excellent. Great choice of hot food and cereals, fruit, croissants, toast. Only let down was that there were no cups/glasses for drinks, having to wait for these. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

No sleep

I was in a room on the ground floor near the road and next to a door that lead through to the corridor and stairs. Constant noise from the road and the door by the corridor was constantly opening and sounded like someone was coming in the room every 5 minutes. I had next to no sleep before a busy day.. I mentioned to reception as was due to be staying next day, there was no real appreciation of just how poor my night had been and just offered to move the room for the next night. I booked a different hotel.
