The hotel was close to dining, airport and other essentials. There was a CVS next door.

The hotel is a 1937 art deco building, and while well maintained, it looks "tired," and it's not what you'd expect of a modern building - tiny elevator, tiny stairs, etc. The rooms are clean, but the doors connecting to the other rooms are paper thin, so you will hear EVERYTHING going on next door. The staff, for the most part, was very helpful. (Knowing Spanish is a must!). Once outside the property, it's party town 24 hours: loud music, huge crowds, restaurants next to each other, etc. Don't expect a good night sleep. Also, if you're out late, get ready to see people selling drugs (and more) despite the huge police presence. The parking situation is awful. Limited and restricted street parking and the lots are expensive. During spring break is even worse: the city closes down the streets so moving around it's inconvenient. In short, staying in the hotel is great if you understand that it's a historical building and you're not picky. Also, you're in a very popular, urban tourist area, so don't expect a quiet moment. You can have lots of fun if you can roll with the punches!

I enjoyed my stay at the Beacon Hotel, it’s in a great location, there are many food options, the area is very nice, there is a CVS next door to the hotel, the room (206) had a comfortable bed, was clean , had a mini fridge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful including the bartender who made delicious cocktails.The only thing missing from the room was NO MICROWAVE. We wasted a lot of food that could not be reheated. That is the only negative for me but may impact my return to this hotel.

Had a nice stay at the Beacon Hotel South Beach! Loved that the location is in the heart of nightlife, great restaurants, live entertainment and directly across from the beach! Con: Hallway carpet had musty mildew strong odor

This hotel was way below expectations. Front desk not friendly, noise and yelling down the hall at all hours of the night and the tub had brown residue in it with very limited space. Not ideal for families or small children. People smoking on every corner, beds hard and cheap , pillows lumpy and sheets felt like paper. The a/c barely worked and you have to keep your window curtains closed or people will look in your room. WTAF

Horrible I requested a receipt I was told I would get a email no email I called spoke to a unprofessional human that did not give his name I asked for his name he said no I will not give I my name than hung up on me . Horrible horrible situation I will never come back to the beacon south beach the restaurant was ok outside. The front desk staff is horrible beyond horribkev. Don’t stay here trust me hortible treatment and than hung up on . Horrible

This property is described as art deco but it has a 1920's feel to it. The property is old and a bit noisy but we were there during spring break unfortunately. Our room was small, especially the bathroom but it served its purpose for the few nights we spent there. The staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant was the best part about it. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Easy to walk to bars and restaurants.

Perfect place to stay the day before a cruise.

This hotel is perfectly located on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach near restaurants, the beach, everything! Once you get there, you just walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and small, but what we expected for an older building in the middle of everything. They have the cutest little area to relax and lounge outside of the rooms.

A nice little gem.

I had an overnight stay before embarking on a weeklong cruise. The location is prime area. A short walk across the street and you are at the ocean. They offered complimentary use of their property bikes. I recommend a stay there. Lots of delicious food options nearby. And if you forget any travel essentials, the Walgreens is next door.

I always enjoy this hotel when we stay. It's right near the beach in a lovely area. Staff was wonderful. I just wish they would bring back the free breakfast! Thanks for a great stay.
