Came down to Miami and booked the Mondrian South Beach. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite—while it was spacious, the rooms definitely felt outdated and could use a refresh. The main reason we chose this hotel was their beach club access, which was a nice perk and worth it if you’re looking to spend time oceanside. Poolside was solid—we lucked out with bench lounge chairs (first come, first serve), which made for a relaxing day. Service by the pool was friendly, and the food was actually better than expected. The mahi mahi burger with fries hit the spot, and the frozen drinks were perfect for Miami heat. Overall, the vibes were good and we enjoyed the amenities, but for the price point, I wish the rooms matched the quality of the pool and beach experience.

The room is outdated and unkept. My blanket was torn with blood stains, the bathroom sink was broken and dirty. The lobby had a great smell and the staff was pleasant. However, there needs to ne better maintenance to the units.

I made an effort not to prejudge even though I saw some not so nice reviews about hotel cleanliness. Unfortunately the 2 rooms we booked are in IMMEDIATE NEED of DEEP Cleaning.. Showers, either have tile and grout professionally cleaned or replace. Constants leaks shower head and toilet- Also, 80% of pool cushions (even in the Sections that have to be Paid for Use/RESERVED) do not look sanitary. We were also disappointed to find that most of the areas you see in the photos are MUCH smaller than they appear.. JUST a Hotel, can’t sit at the bar in the pool area after 6pm to have a drink and watch a game.. Hotel Lobby- Nice and Clean Great room size- we had 1BR with balcony-partial bay and city view Food we ordered at outside bar and pool area VERY GOOD Location- Walk to many conveniences-Food, Grocery-etc Pet Friendly

After staying at the Mondrian a number of times over the last 15 years, time after time we continue to see the deterioration of mangement and upkeep Of the property. During our 5 day stay we received housekeeping only one day. The bathrooms were terribly dirty and in need of a major upgrade.
