"Fantastisch. Näher an 5 Stern als 4 Stern.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfreich, und professionell. Wir haben ein Standard-Zimmer gebucht, wurden aber auf die höchste Zimmerklasse upgegradet. D.h. wir hatten ein grosses Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon und Sicht auf den Dom sowie den schönen Innenhof, der zum Hotel gehört.
Das Frühstück war inklusive. Wegen Corona konnte man sich nicht selber bedienen, aber das hat gut funktioniert. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war nicht riesig, dafür hohe Qualität. Das Frühstück kann man in dem wunderschönen Innenhof zu sich nehmen, was einen entspannt in den Tag starten lässt.
Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Es gibt Hotels, die noch näher am Zentrum liegen, aber für diesen Preis (wir haben im August 2020 Corona-bedingt 120 € pro Nacht bezahlt) absolut perfekt. Preis-/Leistung würde auch für einen deutlich höheren Preis passen.
Bzgl. Parking arbeitet das Hotel mit einer Firma zusammen, die Valet-Parking anbietet. D.h. das Fahrzeug wird bei der Ankunft abgeholt und irgendwo entfernt parkiert, bei der Abholung wird das Fahrzeug wieder vor’s Hotel gestellt. Da Florenz perfekt zu Fuss erkundet werden kann, passt das, da man das Auto nicht braucht (ausser man möchte natürlich Tagesausflüge in der Toskana machen). Kosten für ein normales Auto betragen 25 € pro Tag, für ein grosses Auto 31 €. Dies ist vergleichbar oder sogar etwas günstiger als in anderen Hotels gemäss unseren Recherchen (üblich ist 30 - 35 €).
