Overall good stay, staff very friendly, food nice when it finally arrived, think the chef was under pressure as a few people in the restaurant, mine came then the wifes meal came 10 minutes later

Good basic hotel.

A really good basic hotel 20 minutes from Bristol centre. From the outside it's clearly an old hotel which has had a remodel but the room was warm, clean and modern. Lost a point because the sofa bed (we stayed in a room with our child) was really uncomfortable and the rainfall shower dropped on you when having a shower with the handheld. Not massive issues but it's still over £100 a night so I'd expect the little things like that to be better. Staff were lovely. The breakfast was good and restaurant area had a nice atmosphere. Would definitely use again if I come back to the area .

Rat inside!

The staff were good. Toilet had tissue paper unflushed. Empty shower gel! Checked-in late and was so tired and went straight but was awoken by something crawling on my feet and felt it when kicked! Saw a rat running out to the window!
