This property seems to have been recently renovated, so rooms very clean, bathrooms modern and clean. Beds comfortable Breakfast average in quality but offers all you can eat buffet so good value to money. Staff friendly and helpful.

Overall a good experience. We weren’t advised we needed to order our “buffet breakfast” the night before so unfortunately had nothing to eat. The wall paper was peeling off and there were no tea and coffee option in the room as advertised.

Prompt service at reception in sorting out issues. Courteous staff. Some things not working in room. Slightly leaky tap.

Check in was very average..a smile and a welcome woukd help...think we disturbed her meal or snack. Room was ok however very tired and in need of some updating.The bed was comfy enough though. There was only one side lamp in a triple room and even that wasn't working. The bathroom was adequate but with a very ancient shower. There were only 3 towels supplied for 3 of us. Breakfast was good value for the money with all you can eat hot and cold. Overall a decent stay however improvements are required.

Good value for money. Nice to have a bath for a change. Check ok and ordered a taxi quickly for me. Shame bar isnt open on a lunch time to wait but the pub was next door.

Booked for 6 days after checking in had to ask for towels only one in room room and room had odd laundry smell to it 2nd day had to ask for milk sugar day 4 room not cleaned at all complained at desk nothing done untilll next day all time there room not properly cleaned room very dated shower very old with mixer taps so apart from being cheaper overall we wished we had paid a bit more and gone to a bit more upmarket hotel where we would have had the basic cleanliness did not eat at hotel so cant comment the hotel itself needs a complete overhaul to bring it up to a basic standard no matter what the price per night is would not recommend this hotel

Not been decorated since the 70s, restaurant closed in the evening, no hot breakfast option despite being advertised on their website, poor WiFi coverage in room.
