Close to airport, but...

...It was a bit pricey for a family room. Otherwise, good quality accommodation for before/after trip/holiday.

Very hot with noisy air conditioning.

The room was too hot to sleep. Windows dos not open so there was air conditioning which was very noisy and didn't cool the room. The breakfast was expensive for what was offered. The hot food left out on hot plates so all dried up and the fruit was out of a Tin. Not 4 star stuff at all. There is not much choice at Bristol Airport but I wouldn't stay here again.

Lack of clarity re shuttle service

The hotel is clean and the staff very helpful .There was a problem with the booking on arrival but this was sorted quickly .The details re the shuttle are not clear.I was unaware that I had to book it ( the airport staff told me to use the freephone in the terminal ) or that there is a £4 charge each way ...this should be made clearer on the hotel website .(For info It goes every half an hour from the hotel on the hour and half past the hour and takes 10-15 mins )The quality of the cooked breakfast isn't great but the service is excellent . Handy for the airport but wouldn't use it to stay longer than a night .

Cheeky charge for parking

This is a decent hotel for an overnight before a flight, close to airport and a reasonable price. Only negative is there is a bizarre £5 charge to park in their carpark (where else are you going to park!) Feels like a bit of a Ryanair style tactic to make the room rate appear cheaper than it really is. Stupid thing to do as I'm sure everyone ends up feeling a little bit ripped off, despite the overall experience being quite good.
