Nice Location

Would willingly stay again and have actually booked it for a few weeks tome. Lovely breakfast! Quiet location.

Shopping stopover

Pros: Location

Cons: Clearer room classification. More tables for 2 at breakfast or a longer period, breakfast finishes at 9am. Our room needed vacuuming.

Location: Restraunts, pubs, shops, theatre.

Room descriptions are confusing. We booked a superior double & were shown to a room with a shower in the bedroom (room 6). We were moved to a room which was larger with an en suite & what we consider a superior double should be (room 11). We previously stayed in a budget room which was a pleasant double with en suite (room 7). In our personal opinion room 6 should be budget, room 7 standard double & room 11 superior double. Breakfast was chaotic and there weren't enough tables. We had to share a table for 10 with strangers. Not what we wanted first thing in the morning. The staff tried to stay on top of the orders but service was slow. Location is good & parking is now at the rear of the propert but it is chargeable.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Location, friendly staff

Cons: The hotel is old we accept but could do with refurbishment of bathroom. However we did stay in a budget room so the price made allowances for this

Location: Plenty of shopping and places to eat. Park nearby for children & walking. Racecourse.

Good location, excellent to have parking facilities right outside. Proprietors were friendly and welcoming. Good quality breakfast

Not as nice as expected given it's rating

Had to ask for hair to be cleaned away from the bath twice, breakfast was an issue as they couldn't cater for the guests arriving together as the room wasn't big enough, toilet seat in our room was broken and moved when you sat down.
