Generator, and Expedia, overbooked and gave my reservation away. I arrived in Miami around midnight to find I had no room. It was a busy weekend, and I could not get a room anywhere else nearby. Spent the night walking the streets.

This was a budget pick And from that perspective you get what you pay for - safe and relatively clean place to stay. Services, amenities and little stuff you assume comes in a room are bare min. No coffee , no shampoo but you can ask for it at the reception. No face towel but you can get an extra if you ask. No one minds the pool area. There was a homeless person next to me one afternoon. Elevators are constantly busy with staff working maintenance - maybe just a period we were staying. Staff is nice but not caring. Back to my fist assertion - with excellent location everything else is what you pay for.

My room had water leaking from the toilet. Guest services said that maintenance could not rectify. Checked out early due to poor service. Non guest tried to steal my sweater from bathroom. Hotel would not respond for request of refund. Extremely disappointed.
