The property is ideally situated in south beach. With tons of dining and shopping options within walking distance. They have two pools but the seating area around the pools is very small and fills up quickly. You can get additional chairs by the beach. What was annoying during our stay of five nights was that only one of two elevators was in service. I realize this could happen. But it didn’t seem like anything was being done about it. Otherwise it would really nice.

The highlight of the stay was the Japanese restaurant but everything else was mediocre and poor… elevator only one is working! Queues to get into it! Got scammed by the Marriott vacation guy for 372$ ! It was a real bad none Marriott experience and if Marriott head office get to know about this, I am sure they will remove their name from this building!

It's a nice property that is in need of a renovation. There is a desperate need to update food choices, as dining options are very limited. The biggest headache was the fact that there was only 1 working elevator for the property, making elevator wait times absurd. I was stunned to hear that only 1 elevator has been working for almost 6 months.

We loved the heated pool and hot tub most of all. The beach access was great, and there were plenty of nearby and on-site food options. And the extra perks for guests like the sangrias, daily gelato and bikes were a fun bonus. The location in a quieter part of South Beach with the park and playground next door was a win for traveling with kids! We’d definitely stay again in the future.

It was fine overall, but you can get better value and quality elsewhere. I probably wouldn’t stay again. The AC broke twice during my stay and the entire room felt damp and hard to breathe. I think the resort fee is ridiculous especially that it’s the same price per day as 5 star hotels and you get a fraction of the offerings. I was promised a room upgrade by Expedia that the hotel was unable to accommodate. The room itself was in need of maintenance. As other reviews noted, one of the two elevators is out of service. On positive notes, the staff was generally friendly and the lobby was in great shape. The pool hours were earlier and later than other hotels, and it’s in a great location. It seemed semi-soundproof which was nice, and had a smart TV.

Very nice amenities, especially the pool area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that one of the two elevators was out of order the entire time. However, we would still stay there again.

Fire alarm since 9:25 am every 2 mins for 1,5 h. Room charge 700$, no warning about this stupid fire alarm. Second time at the hotel - first time no electricity 8-12am …an now this. Very upset. Choose a different hotel if u can.

This was our second return to the Stanton. We love this hotel for its location and the size. It in walking distance to restaurants in Miami Beach and South Pointe. We love having the Starbucks attached to the hotel for coffee in the am. While the elevators were under repair our first couple of days there, staff was always available to provide assistance to the service elevator.

Run down hotel for $500/ a night

We had non-working toilets for several days, mold in shower, one elevator for whole building which had been out for several months, broken refrigerator in room broken, torn lamp shades, windows and coach broken in restaurants...and for $500/day Really needs major, major upgrading

One elevator has been out for over nine months!! While we were there the second elevator went out for a day!! Problem is that they just can’t tell the truth!! They actually hand you a letter at check in saying” please bear with us as we modernize our elevators - should be completed this week “” A complete lie! Just be honest!!! Other than that- great location, great staff, excellent Japanese restaurant!!

Terrific location in south beach and with great beach access and amenities. Very good restaurants around the hotel and fast uber access made going around easy. However lack of a second elevator for the full 3 days there made for long waits to get to floor. Hard to get hold of room service after hours. Door card stopped before checkout time and new cards consistently did not work requiring repeat visits to the front desk - they had to send security to let us in due to defective lock. Housekeeping made some mistakes and one call to correct this was not heeded. Was a good experience but not a great one for a five star hotel.
