David (the concierge) was extremely rude to my mother and I when we were getting water. He yelled at us and embarrased us for filling up a cup of water. Told us we were not allowed to use that water and had to go up to the 4th floor to get water. The other concierge Jamie was awesome. The front desk girls were not helpful. This is our second time staying at this hotel and we were disappointed in the friendliness of the staff and overall operation of the hotel. Last year was incredible, this year we felt unwanted and uncomfortable.

Everything was excellent, Except the restaurant service was poor and the food was mediocre to poor. But there are tons of other places to eat right next door. The rooftop pool was spectacular and the location was perfect.

This property is in a great location. Very walkable. Guests should know that if they choose a room with a beach view the trade off will be the noise from Collins Ave which goes late into the night.

This property has the perfect location for walkable dining, shopping and beach. Cannot wait to stay here again. We were in the second building with a beach front, balcony room, it was excellent for people watching. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an ice machine in the building, even though a bucket of ice was just a phone call away, I prefer to get my own. The pool was amazing as was the staff.

Gross and unkept

We purchased the ocean view room, which felt like a bad movie set in the early 80ā€™s. This is a classic Instagram vs reality play. The pics they post are in now way what the reality is. The room had a broken lock, had mold, was dirty and we were in the most premium room. We paid $600 a night and wouldnā€™t stay for free. I am also a Hotels.com gold member and stay 60+ nights with them, they would not refund my priority stamps despite sending these pics. Very disappointed all the way around.

property is okey, but some improvements required

The Tony hotel is okay overall. We stayed 11 days for vacations and enjoyed SoBe. But two issues to be mentioned: First of all rhe reception staff. They seems to be nice and polite, but ABSOLUTELLY not helpful. There is one guy (I guess he is a manager of the property) who knows how to deal with any problem, but he is Mister NO for any requests. Other staff are absolutely non-professional and donā€™t know anything, every time they call that guy to ask how to respond/provceed or ask you to come later (tonight, tomorrow). At the end of our stay the person at front reception was not sure ā€¦ how to call a cab. It was hilarious. To sum up: the staff rather could make you new problems for guests staying at the hotel but not to resolve yours. Second: tile floor at the bathroom. We stayed at the upper level room (Ocean Drive Deluxe King) which I guess their second expansive room. The tile in bathroom (except shower cabin) requires some maintenance and repair, because all tiles are loose on the floor. Every morning we found pieces of cement and they painfully hurt foots. We put some towels to the floor to walk there barefoot. Oh, one more point. Hotel management: please, donā€™t start cleaning windows from outside at 7.50am ā€“ early in the morning some people want to sleep in their rooms.

The Tony Hotel offers an absolutely perfect location for a stay in Miami Beach! Convenient to the beach, Ocean Ave, the Art Deco district and moreā€¦ very clean but showing some signs of wear (our sink had a plumbing problem and soaked everything in the bathroom). So fun to stay in a unique and non-corporatized place!

The property is close to everything and has a beautiful roof top pool. Most of the staff were excellent except the guy taking our luggage the first day, he was rude and seemed put out. However the man that handled the luggage the remainder of the trip was awesome and took care of all our needs
