Opal Sands Resort offers 230 accommodations with safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Beds feature premium bedding. Accommodations all include kitchens. Bathrooms include bathrobes, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers.

This place is a very expensive hotel, for average service! Walls are super thin, heard the room next door using the hair dryer, kids screaming in the halls. The place is clean, but thats it, definitely not worth $ 500 a night!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Opal Sands. Our room was clean and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the water. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant in the sister hotel. Both were fantastic!

Very serious problem the manager did everything she could within her limits. I wish her the best to a great person, but unfortunately, corporate themselves doesn’t want to keep customers or take care of them so I left.

Great pool, nice staff, free water and snacks (ok bundled into resort fee). Beach access but no lounge chairs on the beach but pool chairs and towels were also part of the resort fee. Staff was attentive and rooms were big with great views and balconies looking out at the gulf. We would return.

The service at the Opal Sands was top notch! The rooms were spacious and clean. There was also a guest pantry on every floor fully stocked with waters , individual bags of ice, snacks and fresh fruit. Every room really did have a view of the Gulf. SO BEAUTIFUl! My only complaint, beach chairs and umbrellas should have been part of the daily resort fee. While bikes were included, I did not see where to get them but more importantly there really was no where to ride them. The roads were packed with cars. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and will be DEFINITELY be returning.

This place is fabulous! Very nice resort. Beautiful setting, restaurants around to walk to. Got a great massage at the spa, too. The only suggestion I would make to the resort is to be a bit less stingy with the snacks in the pantry each day. They are a nice perk, but not if they are all gone right away ! Also, the pool and deck areas are beautiful views of the water - gulf front!
