Our check in was just the beginning of a fantastic week. We arrived just a few days after my wife lost her job of 33 years. Although retirement was in her future, that was a great place kick back, relax and go thru all the mental trauma a job loss can bring on. From the moment we pulled up the driveway, we were immediately directed to the lobby for check in. Our bags were collected and were sent to our room as soon as we had received our room number. Although our request for a room away from the elevators on deaf ears, the sound was not bad. Spa services (at Opal Sol) were exceptional and the use of the third floor pool was our secret hideaway for a good part of our trip. Concierge service was excellent in lining up a round of golf and dinner reservations were handled in a very professional manner. Our room view (when not at an ocean-side bar) was spectacular. Watching the day's sunset was just the relaxation that my wife needed. We look forward to our return either later this year or next spring. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
