Stayed at this resort for one night. I liked it a lot, but I did not like my room. Since I booked at the last minute I wasn’t able to pick and choose so I got a standard room. It seriously needs upgrades to the bathroom and floors. Floors were nasty and the restroom wasn’t all that clean either. Shower had hair in it and I was grossed out. I will stay again, but I will definitely be in an upgraded room. I wasn’t very comfortable with where I slept.

Private beach with all the amenities!!

Our stay in early March was unforgettable! Regina at the front desk was exceptionally accommodating, and Oscar at The Cove was so friendly, with great music and drinks to top it off. We stayed for six nights and would absolutely book again at Shephard’s Beach Resort.

Music there is excellent! You pretty much don’t need to leave the property unless you want to. The convenient Trolley is very close to the hotel.

QUIETEN THE NOISE

GOOD LOCATION, HELPFUL STAFF, CLEAN. DOWNSIDE WAS THE MUSIC WHICH WAS EXCESSIVELY LOUD AND OFFENSIVE. THIS WOULD STOP US STAYING THERE AGAIN.

The location was perfect. They have jet ski, paddleboards and kayaks on site to rent plus beach chairs and umbrellas. The food at the tiki bar and the Cove were very good and inexpensive considering it was on site. Mixed drinks however, were not that great. Pool facing rooms also allowed you to sit on your balcony to enjoy the music and make your own beverages. The music was a definite plus. Dont miss the sunsets, they are beautiful, and there is a walking path to the Pier that starts close to the property.

The hotel is perfect for those looking for convenience and everything in one place. It has great dinning, pool, entertainment, and direct beach access, so you don’t need to leave to enjoy a complete vacation. The facilities are spotless, stunning view from our room and the service is excellent. We would definitely come back!

Shepherds

Great location and live music all afternoon and evening. The pool view rooms are nice but the live music is very loud well into late night. The gulf view suites are nicer with picturesque sunset views and much quieter. Tiki bar is nice but if you sit at tables on patio you may not get waited on if at all. Main desk are superb. My tv didn’t work for 5 days had to fight to get a new remote for tv. They need to improve waitstaff outside and at tiki bar. Restaurant for breakfast was excellent and staff were attentive and pleasant but was not aware of restaurant until few days in. Close to CWB pier about 10-15 minute walk for me. Some restaurants close by. Tacobus and bad as* coffee shop very close by as well as parlour donuts.

This resort is nice, clean & close to lots of different things. (Gas station across the street, coffee, restaurants & more). Lots in walking distance. But also used the Jolley Trolley that was free and has multiple stops around the island. You could take public transportation, if you wanted too. Only thing I didn’t not like, was the beach chairs & umbrella’s were “extra”! Most of the time, it’s included in the resort fee.
