Our trip was amazing! Gabriel took great care of us and Maria in the serenity lounge was fantastic! Lots of dining and pool options, good food, great service from all the staff. The hydrotherapy was a superb bonus with our stay and we chose to add on the scalp and neck massages, Richi in the spa made it a very relaxing experience. Nightly shows and entertainment were also always fun

We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they were extra accommodating to us. We got an upgraded room, with Champaign decorated table. They also reserved dinner/show with a special table set up for us. All the staff was extremely courteous and the resort was beautifully taken care of. We enjoy our stay and will consider returning..

My sister and I spent 4 nights at the Haven Riviera and had a wonderful time. The property is beautifully maintained and clean. It is a large property but not too large where it makes it inconvenient to get to all the amenities. The service was excellent from the restaurant staff to the housekeeping. A special shoutout to our butler, Paco who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and took the time to check on us daily during our stay. He really helped us make the most out of our vacation and was so fun to work with! Pros: Great service, clean and spacious rooms, beautifully maintained grounds, beautiful pools with lots of seating and large towels provided, comfy beds, lots of bars and restaurants, nightly entertainment. Cons: The seaweed was horrible. We could not swim in the ocean or really even go on the beach. Not to mention the smell was horrible. This however was NOT the resorts fault. They were out daily trying to keep it under control but it was definitely a huge downfall to our vacation. Now that I know that there is a seaweed season I would definitely avoid visiting this area during this time of the year in the future. The food was a bit disappointing. Though there was plenty of options none of the restaurants really impressed us.

We had a great time here and will be back! Beach - it's seaweed season but that didn't stop us from a walk and mainly enjoying the pools every day. Transport - Amstar was reliable for airport transfer and excursions. Food - I think our favorite restaurant was Satsu. Least favorite was definitely Olios but not sure if we just ordered the wrong things or if it was an off day? If you do book the romantic dinner it is at the Italian restaurant and we were served small portions of steak as main course so a bit disappointed, ordered pasta afterwards which was better lol. Drinks - All the bar staff were great. If you are drinkers then you should order a double (responsibly). They have many flavors of mimosas as well. Room - Our room was just amazing. The swim out room is 100% worth the splurge and we used it daily, also made friends with the neighbors. Resort - clean, humid as expected. We bought massages and got champagne provided due to romantic room! Caution - Yes the staff will ask about food allergies, but whenever you order food you still have to verify that it does not have your allergy in it because it does not seem to be communicated to anyone else, especially dessert. I didn't have any issues with my multple severe food allergies but it was just more of an annoyance. It seems like they ask just to ask. Mainly had issues at the buffet, but if the staff cannot answer your question due to language barrier they will get someone else to help you so that you are safe.

This was the most amazing experience ever! Everything worked out perfectly! We got the perfect room with a swim out and it was great. The food was also fantastic! We had the Mexican grill and the Italian restaurant and it was so good! The staff were also great!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Very secluded and not a lot to do. $45 cab ride to the market. Entertainment was lacking. Drinks were subpar. Staff was amazing and always willling to help. Had to have reservations for dinner. Food was 6/10 at best.

Our stay was relaxing overall, and the property itself is clean, well-maintained, and comfortably sized. While there were many positives, a few small details fell short of expectations. The staff were friendly, hardworking, and consistently helpful. A special shoutout to Lucy, who stood out for her excellent service and warm demeanor—she truly enhanced our experience. However, I was disappointed that, despite notifying the hotel about the special occasion behind our visit (via email a month, then 2 weeks, then 3 days in advance), there was no acknowledgment upon arrival. Other guests received “Happy Birthday” or “Welcome Back” banners on their doors, and the absence of something similar for us was disheartening. It’s often the little touches that leave a lasting impression. The resort offers five restaurants, and Satsu, the Asian restaurant, was by far our favorite—absolutely delicious! The drinks were great too; according to my husband, they weren’t watered down, which is a plus. Room service was prompt and reliable. While the menu could use more variety, the items we did try were tasty. The pool area was clean and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the beach wasn’t usable during our mid-June stay due to a heavy presence of Sargassum At times, there was a noticeable sewage scent on the property, which detracted from the overall ambiance.

Absolutely amazing resort. Went June 14-June 21. The sargassum was terrible the entire time but didn’t smell unless the crew was trying to clean it up. The property is amazing, 3 different pools with their own personality. We were on our honeymoon so we hung out at personal swim-out the majority of the time but we did spend a little time at the party pool. The food was great, no issue with that some better than others but the Tahini (Serenity) Breakfast was AMAZING! Definitely take your own cups if you want straws, make sure you take the necessities you need because they’re super expensive at the gift shop. I’d give this a solid 9.5/10 Absolutely amazing!

Staff is next level. Takes care of their patrons. Rooms are ridiculously nice and big. Buffet is average but restaurants are top notch
