Lovely modern friendly hotel

Really good hotel, very friendly and great service. Room really nice size and clean (family room) and modern! Brekkie was great with lots of choice. Only issue was the ceiling/roof is super thin so you can hear ppl above you, unfortunately for us the family above were up until midnight stampeding up and down constantly so we didn’t get much sleep. We did tell the night manager who said they would ask them to stop but not much the hotel can do about that! Would stay again though for sure and ask for a top floor room instead! No car park at the minute but nearest is 5 mins walk.

Family room was very spacious and more like a junior suite. Hotel was clean and in very good condition. All the staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good and ample. Short walk along the water front into the city centre. Very happy.

Great location on the canal

Good stay. Nice walk along canal to city centre, the canal is right outside reception. The bar and restaurant area are always nice in a Moxy, very cool. Nice staff. Breakfast a bit chaotic with not enough bowls, cups etc. Very dog friendly, appreciated being at the end of the corridor so no-one was walking past, which makes the dogs bark. Waitrose next door for late night snacks. Food at Moxy not great. But would stay again.

It comfortable not the biggest room, bathroom was a bit on the small side, had a view of the car park , I like a canal would have been a nicer view, just nit picking though , bar staff were lovely, all in all though it was ok.

Central for Chester and easy to walk to anywhere in the City centre. Lots of quirky features which made the hotel fun - pinball machine, games, bright seating, pool table etc. Great value for money and will definitely return.
