My wife & myself often mentioned a trip to Chester, we finally got there, I spotted the mill hotel whilst searching & i’m so pleased I found it, it ticked every box for us both, we took advantage of a swim & workout.. Great facilities for a short, medium or long stay.. great helpful staff ..

First class as usual can’t fault it we come every month it’s friendly staff go out of there way nothing not to like rooms clean right in Chester parking if go direct through hotel swimming pool and spa love it Marie and Fred Moore

I’ll be back!!

Second time I’ve stayed here to visit my granddaughter who is a student in Chester. Very pleased with my stay both times and I was allowed to check in a little early to save carrying my bag around. It was quiet, comfortable and a good breakfast with friendly staff.

Very friendly staff on arrival. Even though we were early our room was ready so we were able to check everything in straight away. The room was a good size and very clean. Good facilities for phone charging and tea and coffee and biscuits provided. The location is excellent with a short walk along the canal into the centre. The spa was available but we didn't use it. The slight downsides were the shower. A very old set up with separate hot and cold taps and very difficult to get the water temperature right. Also not very powerful. It was fine for a couple of nights, but would have wanted better for a longer stay. Also the mattress was very hard and we struggled to get much sleep. Overall it was a lovely hotel to stay in for a short break and would use it again.

Lovely clean hotel have stayed there before disappointed with the room this time, small bathroom and unable to operate the shower it was way too hot. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. Staff go above and beyond.

Decent clean room if a bit dated. Staff were polite but brisk. Breakfast was good but lacking variety. Basic fry up with bacon sausages eggs beans and hasbrowns. Greater fruit and healthy options would have been appreciated.

Good all round place to stay. Lots of space, etc but the pillows were not good... all were rather hard. Anyway, everything else like the pool and amenities somehow outweigh this so i will stay there again.
