Staff were all so courteous and helpful. However, our bed was very uncomfortable, sink taps difficult to turn off, electric sockets too far from mirror, parking convenient but expensive at £12 overnight, dinner poor value and also limited menu options for Coeliacs.

We upgraded to a canal view room which had a sofa and felt spacious. Breakfast was included and well organised and with everything you needed included. I liked the onsite indoor pool and gym which felt well organised and very clean. The hotel was an easy walk from from the train station and into the centre of Chester.

Room was fine, breakfast was good but we booked a spa treatment and when we arrived the booking times had been messed up so we weren’t able to have the treatment. The previous days had all been fully booked so we weren’t able to attend the spa during our stay, which was a main reason for picking this hotel.

Lovely hotel helpful friendly staff breakfast was nice all you needed available used the pool and jacuzzi sauna and steam room our room was nice and big with a balcony looking onto the canal the shopping town centre is a few minutes walk as is the cathedral worth a visit we would stay here again my only complaint is we had to pay extra £36:00 pounds for parking!!!

The hotel was overall good however when asked about Costa Coffee which has three in Chester staff didn’t appear to know were they where but we found them ourselves.
