Whenever we stay at The Mill it is always a treat. Great service, clean, good food, efficient staff. Cleaners are friendly and definitely deserve a heads up. Location is really good for town and sightseeing

Enjoyed stay. Clean room. Very warm at night. Water ran very hot. Over bath shower. No bedside lamps so rooms over bright or too dark during evening. Quiet & comfortable beds. Wished we had contacted hotel ahead of arrival to book breakfast for next morning as only two time slots available (10am or 7.45am) by the time we checked in at 17.30.. Offered basic cooked breakfast. Fried & scrambled egg, bacon toast beans & tomatoes. Plain croissants & limited range of cereal available. Tinned peaches & yoghurt. Spa facilities good. Small pool with rope down centre for segregated swimming. Hot tub. Staff friendly and helpful throughout. Ate in hotel bar first night - nice menu, reasonably priced, Pleasant vibe with range of high/low seating & sports TV & separate conservatory. Would definitely revisit. Great location.

Room clean and quiet. Had a problem with key cards. They were reloaded for me but only seemed to last one time. The water was scalding and very difficult to control for shower so ended up having a near cold one. Breakfast was great and overall good value as an hotel. Staff very friendly but failed to follow up on problems eg water temperature and key cards. Having spoken to other people staying there I know they also had similar problems

Nice hotel, well-located and with friendly staff. It looks like the rooms in the spa side of the building are better than those in the former mill but the latter were fine for a short stay, the bathroom was just a little small. No quibbles re paying £12 for 24 hours’ parking right outside the hotel in a secure compound. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant quality, but again no complaints given that it was included in the room rate and that was very reasonable. Would we stay again - yes but only for short stays.

A lovely building, well designed around an old Mill. All the staff were friendly. Good Gym and an 18 metre pool! Breakfast was very good and all you would expect.

I have stayed here before which confirms how much I like it! My room was larger than expected as I was given a lovely family room. As usual all clean staff helpful and friendly and breakfast good. A great benefit of staying here is it’s proximity to town and being able to walk everywhere

The Mill hotel is in a good location with parking very close. The hotel is really nice and so to was our room. We usually stay in the premier inn when visiting Chester but it will definitely be the Mill hotel in future.

I was very very disappointed with the hotel because I had booked it for me & my patner to have a look around chester the sink was all chipped & had a big crack in it the room was too small to move in it would not recommend this hotel to my friend's .
