Okay, just dated and not the comfiest.

A short trip to Exeter. Hotel was generally okay and adequate, however hotel is dated. Bed and pillows weren’t the best. TV in room is very dated. enough if the only thing your doing is sleeping overnight night, but not one to spend the evening in your room etc. No specific complaints, just a very average/economy budget hotel but in a need for a refurb and modernisation

Review of Hotel

Hotel was wonderful however parking was limited and was allocated on first come first serve basis. Hotel is in the heart of Exeter Town so I had to pay £19 to park in the Station Car Park. Something that I shouldn’t have had to do.

Great night away

Hotel was in the perfect location for the town centre. Single room good size. Clean. Just need air conditioning and it could of been perfect.

Directly across the road from Exeter Central Station. Very friendly staff. A floor-standing fan in the room that was very welcome. A good selection of hot & cold food at the buffet breakfast. Luggage storage before and after check-in/out.

The hotel is located in a decent area as there is a local shopping centre close by and many restaurants/bars. However, the hotel is quite dated and unfortuantely was lacking in terms of cleaniness - I lifted up the bedsheets and saw a very filthy mattress. On the plus side, the hotel staff were very polite and helpful

Absolutely unbearable! The room I had faced full west - and in a June heat wave, with windows that only open a crack, the fan the hotel provided could not keep up. For 3 nights of my 4 night stay the room was unbearably hot - so much so that a chocolate bar I had on the desk melted completely. Did not get a wink of sleep the whole stay due to the heat. Awful! Despite this the staff were very nice and helpful and the front desk clerk even came up and tried to open the windows more- to no avail. Bottom line- don’t stay here in the summer unless you like living in a sauna. Also, if you use conditioner - be sure to bring your own.

Great hotel, close to shops & restaurants.

This is a great hotel within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was large and clean, had a large comfortable bed and a good bathroom. It was also very quiet which is a bonus! Staff were very friendly and informative. Parking was included for an extra charge. We will certainly stay there again when visiting Exeter!

top staff , excellent location . sorry to be critical though they really need to invest and uplift the hotel a little especially the air con as the is non at all , yes provide fans but hots days are really tough im sorry I will stop again but only in winter which is a shame ,
