Exeter city hotel

Well situated hotel which I’ve stayed in before. Room was ok but the pillows really lumpy and uncomfortable and bed sheets bobbly feel. Very noisy as above entrance and staff lon break or guests smoking outside talking. Disappointing now costs £15 to park and also have to pay for pool use as this was included last stay. Not sure if I’d stay again.

was not happy that the swimming pool was an extra charge which was not made clear on booking. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer, kept having to ask for them to replenish items and also plates for hot food were cold.

Unfortunately the breakfast was very disappointing. It would be so much better if tea/coffee and toast could be brought to the table as quality from machine is poor and toaster is rubbish! The choice of food was limited and cooked food was dried up.

Only one coffee machine working at breakfast and the machine was not being kept topped up with beans. Quite a wait to get a cup of coffee.

Average quality above average price.

We'd booked a family room but upon arrival were advised they had none available and offered a standard room instead. The bathrooom had mould on the grout and along the base of the shower screen, the towel rail was missing a screw so the rail was loose and the paintwork on the woodwork has seen better days.... Price point was expensive for standard of room but being dog friendly it served it's purpose -an overnight to visit niece in university.

Lovely property in heart of Exeter. Clean, warm, lovely room, big bed. Bathroom completely new with excellent water pressure but the shower had issues draining! Would recommend and would stay again.
