The location of the hotel is perfect, there is a charge for parking, which parking was very hard to find and the parking lot was not well lit. I don’t think the parking is worth the charge. The bedroom amenities stated that the room had blackout curtains, my room did not, it had roll down blinds. I was located on the 2 floor and the rooms on this floor is where all the hotel lights are located, so at night time, the room is well lit. I’m a person who needs darkness to sleep and my 2 night stay here was not the best do to the room not having the blackout curtains, but I must say, the beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning works well. I’ll recommend this hotel if you can sleep well in a bright room or you can request a room on the higher floors.

In my room, I didn’t like the large section of paint that was pilling in the bathtub and the toilet that didn’t flush properly. Furthermore, I think it’s ridiculous to have to pay taxes on the $15 overnight parking. Several cars in the visitor parking lot were without the parking tag which indicated they weren’t charged for parking!

When we got to the property, our reservation was cancelled. I received a notification the previous day to check in, which I did. I received a follow up notification which was a basic welcome and an about the hotel. I didn’t receive any notification that my reservation was cancelled, and needed to find another hotel because Spring Hill was booked. This happened to at least one other person that we met in the lobby.

The location of the property was convenient for walking to shopping and restaurant's at Dania Point. The cleanliness was sub par. The same dirty mess we saw in certain areas of the hotel were still there when we came back a week later. The hotel Room was sub par. Could definitely be cleaner..the floors and couch. The freshner they use for the hallway is so strong. Additionally, I asked one staff if our room would be made up and towels changed since we were staying for two nights. The staff replied yes. After coming back to the hotel after a day outing, the room was not made up nor towels changed only to be told by another staff that they only change the towels upon request and room was not made up.

Our room was on the first floor and the road behind the property had MANY noisy cars with after market additions that created loud explosions when they accelerate. The hot tub was clearly not kept up as it was green with algae. The from desk customer service person, Jeanette, was extremely hospitable and friendly. She is a gem.
