We were looking forward to celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at the beach. When I received the confirmation for our room, I noticed the dates were incorrect, I immediately made the correction. Apparently, I didn't do someting right because when I got an email saying our trip was only 1 day away, I realized the date had not been changed and called the hotel directly to see if we could still come on that night. I was told they didn't have that room available. The clerk was very polite and tried to help by suggesting we could rent another room for that night and add it to our existing reservation. However, our cost for the wrong dates was $176.00. The room that was available for that night was $232.00. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford that much of an increase and had to cancel and pay the $176.00. I'm aware that I'm the one who made the mistake, but how very disappointed we are at the loss of our payment and the chance to celebrate our anniversary at Margheritaville. Maybe next year!

Dated hotel. Very disappointing to see the broken chandelier in the lobby, housekeeping carts in hallways all times of the day and workers(painters etc) waiting to share elevators with guests. If you plan on staying there, book through a third party. I called the hotel directly for rates and they were $70 higher BEFORE resort fees and taxes for a single room city view with no balcony, meanwhile we secured a ocean view balcony room for a great rate through Expedia. Rooms are fine but nothing special. Pool is small but fine. It was just underwhelming. You don’t enter through a grand lobby which would’ve been cool, it just felt disjointed. Just meh.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had the pleasure of booking. Haven’t been to Jax beach since Covid with my son and girlfriend and magaritaville wasn’t even finished being built! Had to chance to return this weekend with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time . Took plenty of pictures and had a great night along the strip . Will definitely be returning
