Our hotel night was pre-paid and the front desk lady wanted to charge me all over plus deposit, the room we had requested wasn't available, we weren’t given warm cookie and the hotel is old and outdated.

This hotel was very outdated. The lobby smelled good, but the room smell horrible even though we were switched to another room. The room was even worse.

Property is better than the reviews would indicate, housekeeping did a great job on the room. $10 self parking was convenient, but there was a lack of on site dining options. Only a basic food menu available.

Everyone was nice and polite. But there was no Heat for the entire hotel. Attention was brought to the managers and all they had to say was it's hot in miami. Miami was in the 60s and cool. And Regardless if it's hot or cold we as the customers should have a right to change temperatures in our room. We pay our money to be comfortable.

Double tree hotel has alwaty been one of my favorite hotels of choice whenever I travel to the United States, mainly Fort Launderdale. My one night stay at the Hotel's Miami Airport & Convention Centre prior to my cruise did not meet my expectations. My husband and I waited for over two hours at the airport on arrival in Miami for the hotel shuttle which never showed despite contacting the hotel to inform that we had arrived and had been waiting. We subsequently had to catch Uber. Additionally, the lighting in the junior suite was poor and there was no hand soap available in the vanity area of the bathroom. The food in the bar restaurant needs improvement and is costly. However the complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was very good. Based on my experience I would give the hotel a below average rating.of 2.

They had no rooms available when I arrived and I didn’t get a room until 6:30pm after arriving at 4pm. Check in is at 4pm. Not too open to provide late checkout to compensate for the Time I lost. I will not stay here again.
