Disappointed – Needs Major Upgrades and Better Maintenance
I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt this was important to share so others are aware before booking. This property is in a great location—right on the beach—and the staff are friendly, but unfortunately, the overall condition of the building is very old and poorly maintained.
Our room was clean, but extremely outdated. The door, although locked, was so loose that my 6-year-old son was able to push it open with a bit of force—definitely not safe. The cabinets were damaged and didn’t close properly, and the bathroom tub had visible stains. Even more frustrating, the shower only had hot water and no cold water at all. I called the front desk asking for assistance, but no one ever showed up. I had to take a hot shower because I was on a schedule for an event.
One of the worst experiences happened while I was sitting on the 7th-floor balcony with my family, enjoying a coffee. Suddenly, dirty water came spilling down on me from either the balcony above or the roof—completely soaking me. I showed my shoes to the cleaning lady nearby, and although she was laughing and surprised, this was not something to be taken lightly. It was uncomfortable and unacceptable.
I truly hope the management takes steps to renovate and address these issues. This property has potential because of its location, but as it stands now, it needs serious attention. I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience these problems during their vacation
