Hotel need a new elevator! It hard to carry luggage up several flights of stairs!! Water pressure in shower was poor also. It’s redeeming quality is its location!

My friend and I checked in to the Penguin Hotel for a one night trip. Upon checking in we headed to the room to shower and get ready to go out. While taking a shower, the water shut off and was not turned back on for an hour and my friend had soap in her hair! When checking with the hotel front desk they said “No one let you know the water would be shut off?” We had checked in only less than an hour prior. We were not warned. This did end up wasting a lot of time for our one day trip. The room otherwise was clean, fairly dated.

Great staff very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful beachfront location close to many restaurants & gift shops . Only issue was the elevator was out of service for the most part of our two night stay.
The sweet Alley cat found between the penguin & president hotels. It seems fed and well cared for ❤️

I have checked-into 112 at Penguin on 16th late evening with my family. On 17th we had water shortage and had to wait in washroom for long time, and then my room had exhaust problem which created a lot of mess to my luggage. I have been advised to change my room and there were no option given to me with 2 queen bed. Even through I compromised but then I came to know about elevator issue which made my entire stay very painful. I have came here from Canada for family trip and will be going back to my country with bad memories.

Great room balcony and hotel location. Hotel staff gave beach toys for my baby to play. Also gave beach towels. Hotel Bar/breakfast staff helped very well evenings and morning times to provide hot milk for baby and special coffee drink for us. Reception staff helped us to accommodate for early check in at around 12 noon by seeking another alternative bigger room.
