Having read some negative reviews after I had booked I was a little concerned but I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were very happy and helpful. Buffet breakfast was very good with a varied hot selection and continental. Parking was close. The room was clean and had a kettle for tea and coffee. Small things showing previous users abuse, ie small dent in headboard and window latch needed attention but this did not spoil our visit at all. Location was very close to our route and destination. The building in the area may have increased traffic delay in the area but it was not a problem, we would have encountered this anyway on our route. For the cost we were pleasantly surprised and I would book again.

I was not allowed to change room to another floor staff telling me that rooms are pre-allocated and they are not able to change. I do not believe this as I have heard this before in other hotels and later someone comes in and changes them. I think it is a cheap excuse to not be bothered. Carpet needs replacing. Clean Comfortable beds Fair price - don't understand why i cant post it :-) Spacious rooms compared to many of this class.

Meh- Wifi not included

Cons: AC did not work in room
You have to pay £3 for 24-hour period of wifi...anywhere else and it is included.

Deceiving

after paying ebookers.com for the hotel I was then asked to pay £27.85 on top of what I had already paid. The room smelt mouldy and the bed was hard and not comfortable at all.

4 Night stop over Christmas

Clean, comfortable room. Good Service and helpful staff. Great price too. Usually stay in Holiday Inn just down the road over Christmas and I would say that this was just as good. Would definitely use again. Did not use wifi so amenities so feel unable to comment on this.

One Night Stopover

I stayed here the night before the Wings For Life Run at Silverstone - the Campanile is well placed for anyone visiting the circuit and not minding a 25 minute drive. Given the relatively reasonable price my expectations were fairly low, but I was surprised to find a clean and comfortable hotel room and a restaurant that wasn't too extortionately priced. I'd happily stay here again, although free wifi access would be a bonus - there didn't appear to be any during my visit. The staff were very friendly and polite, the only problem I had during my stay related a group of guests who were a little noisy during the night - not the fault of the hotel!

Best value overnight stay

If you want a smart clean room for a good price stay here. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on that aspect. Young team very helpful and very smiley which makes you feel welcome.
