It was okay, but just that. There was good parking, but the rooms were a little run down, and the walls were thin. The price was right for staying in town, but I would likely try somewhere else next time.

Hotel night stay

Had a great stay at the hotel. It was clean and a nice place to relax. Staff are friendly. Loved having dressing gown and slippers in the room. The hotel was mid way between the places we needed to visit so was great. Would definitely go there again.

I was working at Silverstone so needed somewhere nearby to sleep the night, it was cheap alternative to staff camping where I probably wouldn’t have got a comfortable nights sleep

The whole room was very dusty and I couldn't breathe well. Just one night i spent there, came back sick. I think they have a nice building and could improve in their servuce. I couldn't stand the dusty environment last night. I really struggle 😩

It wasn’t clear for me that the room I booked has a shared bathroom, I had to pay extra 60 pounds to upgrade to a double room with a bathroom

It was a last min one night booking ( when Grand Prix on so acc - hotels v expensive ) I wasn’t going just needed a room for the night . The room as I knew when booked was a single basic one that hadn’t been yet done up like the rest of the hotel but the bedding was spotless and the towels white and fluffy so all good . Recp and breakfast Staff were excellent v friendly and helpful even cooking me some vege Sausages .

Plough Hotel had a very kind, welcoming and accommodating staff who could not do more to provide us with a top quality stay. The hotel was quiet, peaceful and conveniently stationed.

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful which is important. Room was spacious and plenty of bench space to put my things on as well as room for my suitcase. It has a shared bathroom which I've never had before in a hotel it was no problem l never had to wait to use the shower. Plenty of car parking space if your driving. Tv was tiny could have bought the next size was my only negative. Also no soap ,shampoo but l always bring my own. The hotel itself not the rooms has been modernized l thought it was going to be a traditional english pub.
