Just returned from a lovely stay here. Highly recommended. Charming room, friendly staff and ideally situated. Will definitely book again.

Ideal for a one night stay. The only negative is that it is next to a busy road so you can’t leave the window open overnight without it being noisy.

As expected reasonable value.

Not great, no breakfast available. No where to leave your key when you left at 09.05 am. Food prices in the bar were quite high and no snack meals available. Rooms noisy as expected as it’s a pub /restaurant and rooms are above the bar. Rooms are comfortable, clean and comfy

1st visit to Shrewsbury

Very accommodating to my requirements for an earlier check in which was great. Very friendly staff. Bed very comfy. Gave only 4 stars as areas a little tired. Yes the building is extremely old and creaky, totally acceptable just some things need a little freshening up

Room was a bit pricey for the size

Friendly staff and the room was clean. Only gripe that the room was really small and extremely hot only due to the hot weather.

Loved our stay, clean, lovely staff and food, only thing that we would say is warn your guests of music, we where right above the bar and as early bedders as day people we could not sleep wuould have been nice to be given a choice.
