Very dark and unclean room, no windows, bathroom in need of a refurbishment. We were kept awake with loud music till 1.15 in the morning from the bar down stairs. Breakfast was not good, only two other people for breakfast, god help them if busy , had to send out for orange juice, took 45 mins to be served , when arrived order was wrong and then brought us under cooked eggs and even had to ask for toast. I would not recommend this place to stay, even though Shrewsbury was lovely .

Single glazed, central heating very poor, staff had to find electric heaters to supplement the heating in two bedrooms very noisy from 05.10 am bin men bottles being emptied into bins, and a whole selection of white van deliveries and street ckeanlng machines with flashing lights, by 0730 we had given up trying to sleep! Breakfast staff said this is commonplace!! OK cheap hotel, but beware of the big problems with its location.

Great location to walk around old town. Plenty of shops, cafes etc within 2 minutes walk.

Too noisy, bed uncomfortable, shower room very small, however the food was lovely, and Mary our host was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us she is a diamond for your establishment. Sound proofing may be a good idea with live bands on.

Disappointed ..no car park no bathroom had to share, there were no meals being served and no peroni beer they had ran out. Staff were nice andd breakfast was okay wouldnt stay again
