The conditioner dispenser was empty on the day we arrived, after asking for it multiple times, finally got it on the next day. Housekeeping is every other day, they missed ours, twice. I spoke to the front desk multiple times and we had to go the front desk to get towels. All the employees I spoke to were aware that we weren't getting housekeeping and did nothing. Finally spoke to the manager on the morning we check-out and she said they were "chatting" about our room but nothing was done to remedy this issue. I will definitely not be staying there again and do not recommend.

Breathtaking view

The room was really comfortable. The view was relaxing and breathtaking (facing the marina). Although I said I didn’t really want to visit FL for a couple of years, I would definitely go back to this Marriott Clearwater Beach.

We had high expectations for this hotel, as it seemed to fall into the mid-to-high-end category. Our room was upgraded from a king bed to two queen beds with a balcony view, which was great—it was nice to have a balcony. The location was excellent, right in the middle of the Clearwater Beach strip, with everything easily accessible. The pool was nice and even came with floaties and different pool toys. Reception was responsive but didn’t have answers to some of our questions. We were told to expect housekeeping, but no one came during our 5-day stay. We had to go to reception for fresh towels and toiletries, and while they provided them when asked, some towels had stains and small hairs stuck to them. Breakfast was good; we paid to include it with our stay. There were about four main meal options, along with items like bagels, croissants, toast, juice, and coffee. The rooftop view was a highlight, the gym facility was nice, and laundry service cost about $6 for both washing and drying. Overall, it was a nice experience

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Clearwater Beach, Florida, and overall, my experience was extremely disappointing — not only due to poor service, but also a serious cleanliness issue that left me disgusted. To start, the front desk was consistently unattended. On one occasion, I waited about five minutes just to get change for the laundry, and no one was around. I had to call out “hello” before anyone finally came to assist me. When I came down to check out, the front desk was again completely empty. Since I was heading to the airport and couldn’t afford to wait, I had no choice but to leave my room keys on the counter and leave without officially checking out — again, no staff in sight. Things were no better at breakfast. One staff member (a lady with glasses) was very kind, helpful, and professional — she was a bright spot during my stay. However, another woman working there was shockingly rude. After helping another customer, she completely ignored me, even though she saw me standing there waiting. I stood there for several minutes before she finally acknowledged me — no greeting, no apology, just cold and dismissive behavior. But the worst part of my stay came when I stepped out of the shower, grabbed a towel, and realized as I was drying off, the towel had blood on it. I was absolutely disgusted. That is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s cleanliness and sanitation standards. I expect much better from a Marriott-brand.

The hotel is in a really good location. But prob not the place I would stay at again when visiting Clearwater Beach. Some shakey experiences - pool closings - glass broken in elevator - beds glfelt like they were sinking in... But the time we had outside of the hotel made it all worthwhile.
