We paid for the room with no breakfast. The next morning we changed our minds and paid £33.50 for two breakfasts. Unfortunately the breakfast was not nice food. The sausages and bacon were very undercooked. I asked one of the team members for the sausages and bacon i had out on a separate plate to be cooked more. After waiting 20 minutes they came back exactly the same. I was told the kitchen is busy but if i wanted he could go back to the kitchen with the same food and ask the chef again? I did explain we were already late and i cant wait another 20 minutes for this and I'm not happy that i have to pay £16.50 for beans on toast! The ‘manager’ of the restaurant said there is nothing more he is going to do! I asked for his name to which he replied ‘My name is BEN, B-E-N’ and said it very slowly and loudly which now caught the attention of other guests eating their breakfast. I said no problem. I then went to reception and spoke with the lady there who was very polite and friendly but again nothing more was done. I explained i will be taking this further. She offered me free breakfast the next time i stay there. To be quite honest i am quite insulted that i have been offered a breakfast in the same place where the chef is unable to cook a sausage and the manager B-E-N has as much customer service skills as a toilet pan!
The room was satisfactory but i strongly recommend you stay far away as possible from Ben and his bad attitude and the inept chef at the ‘resturant’
