Quilt cover not fitted and kept getting tied up. No water in room and not told so nothing to drink. Kettle leaked water when boiling and paid £12.50 for parking in hotel !! ? Certainly won’t be going back there again.

The heating wasn't wprkimg in the room. Small storage heater was given in its place. When having a shower the water wouldnt drain away quick enough the the water went over the edge of the walk in shower tray.

Hotel itself was really nice. Ample parking. Modern and good location. Great service from staff. Room was very nice - however we struggled to sleep for both nights. First night the pillows were very hard for all of us. Checked the room directory late at night using QR code but no mention of other pillows available. Asked housekeeping girl (young girl in glasses) next morning in corridor about other pillows and she said she would bring some to the room. Shortly afterwards a foreign housekeeping lady arrived and sternly pointed at our existing pillows and said “these are ok”. We said no, and before she could say anything else the young girl with the glasses walked in and said don’t worry I’ll get some softer ones, to which the other housekeeping huffed and walked out. Second night we had a loud hissing sound from the air con unit in the room even though it was off and what sounded like fans on the roof above us going off. The hissing was around 4am and was quite loud. So sadly, while we loved the hotel, location, food, service etc we didn’t have very good sleep.
