Everything was perfect, amenities were excellent, staff were kind and helpful, room was great, breakfast even better
Room very dark. Loud air conditioning unit outside the window made sleeping impossible.

Nice little hotel stay with all amenities
The dinner in the restaurant was outstanding, so I had high hopes for the breakfast which was a bit of a let down.
The hotel itself is comfortable but could do with a lick of paint, the bedroom smelt a little damp but it was cute.
I'd visit again if I was in the area still.

Beautiful building with tremendous character . Staff very pleasant and helpful .
Car parking can be problematic because of the way people thoughtlessly park . It would be useful if registration numbers are taken during booking in to avoid being blocked in .
Some parts of the building would benefit from a lick of paint and carpets are tired .

Beautiful area. Lovely clean room.
Only downside of coming in winter or during bad weather is the restaurant and hotel are not all in one building. They are only a few steps apart but enough to get wet. Also not great for elderly due to cobbles floor outside area. But that’s all part of the character of the building.
Will definitely be staying again as we live Abingdon.

The room was great ,breakfast good and the staff great.
Only issue was the paint on bathroomceiling was coming away due to leak or damp needed attention.enjoyed stay lots of resturants ,cafes and bars in area all in walking distance .river walks very close.

Great if you like historical inns.
Very pleasant stay with helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is as close as you can get to the centre of Abingdon and from that point of view a great place to stay. It also has a great restaurant with great food and friendly staff.
Unfortunately being a very old building, it is not disabled friendly, all the rooms are on the first and second floors, not lift, and very narrow stairs. Also we found the light switches in our room very confusing and we had to have our cardkeys reprogrammed a number of times.
