Room was perfectly presented and very clean. Breakfast to go bag for £6pp was an unbelievable deal with the amount of food offered for that price.
Amazing place for the price. Would stay again.
We had a great room that was that was perfect for our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large on-suite. The extra space was needed as we traveled with our dog. The property has lovely grounds to explore and it’s close to pubs. I highly recommend this property.
Pretty, quiet location. Especially liked the big lawn with a view of the lake. A very good value.

excellent room, nice, tidy and spacious. The Bed was super comfy! Loved the drying unit outside our room door for all our wet gear in the fells - Got it dry in a few hours.
Spoke to reception for some more coffee/hot chocolate and when we came back after evening meal, they were outside.

Had a great stay here in one of the lodges, room was nice and clean, really spacious, nice and warm, great location, good facilities for tea/ coffee, got a mini fridge too, not far from Ambleside cost £5 for a taxi, loads of space to park
This is a great place to stay. We had a great view from our room. The room was so nice. The bed was so comfy. The Bathroom was a really good size along with the room as a whole. It was in a great location not far from Ambleside. Checking was easy. The room was lovely and clean and i would definitely stay there again.
Good value for money. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Stayed in Helvellyn Room 9 - STUNNING views across the lake. Old building but modern, clean rooms. All carpets, including stairwells clean and good quality. Would definitely stay again.
