Comfortable bed, excellent rainforest shower. TV took an age to switch on, bathroom window wouldn't open, shower sealant black and peeling, pot cover on hot tap kept falling off, sink plug useless, bedroom window wouldn't lock and most of paint flaking off. Steam iron leaking which soaked clean clothes requested replacement which was never delivered. Waited over 60 mins to check in with only 2 people on the desks. No queing system guest were anxious and rather frustrated. The breakfast and main hotel building was excellent and staff most helpful at other times especially. Louie in the bar was most helpful. Sadly, not deserving of the expenditure associated with the standards and those received at Tring..

First of all the property itself is very beautiful. But, we booked a dog friendly room which we confirmed with the hotel reception a week in advance. Unfortunately when we arrived they had no dog friendly room available and we wasted nearly 2 hours for the whole check in procedure - which is not really acceptable when only staying on a one night deal and limited times to use the facilities. There was also a miscommunication with the bill whereby I was being charged for the apparent upgrade for the room we would be permitted to use with our dog and the cost for taking the dog, all of which we had been told would not be charged when the problem arose. The grounds are kept beautifully, the Manor House is really spectacular but the spa (inside the pool room) really needs some attention.

Lovely hotel in serene countryside

We stayed at Eastwell Manor on a recent trip to discover Kent. It was a great location right in the middle of beautiful rolling and tranquil countryside. Our rooms were in the fabulous old manor and were very well appointed with very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

Don't book through Ebookers as they state "breakfast included" but don't say you have to pay for cooked breakfast. The hotel kindly allowed as complimentary full breakfast due to Ebookers being misleading and mis-selling. Lovely hotel. Wonderful break. Relaxing ambience and beautiful surroundings.

Relaxing Spa weekend.

Impressed with the newly refurbished Champneys Spa, very modern and clean. Stayed in a mews cottage, was lovely and clean and quiet. Had an evening meal at the Manor House, unfortunately the main restaurant was fully booked but the bar menu was fine. Was told that this booking didn't include the full cooked breakfast, this would be an additional cost. Small debate with the manager and it was all included as per the received email upon booking. Other than that an excellent, relaxing weekend away for my wife and I.

Lovely

Pros: Great service awesome food
Cons: The sauna could've been hotter. Steam room and hydropool awesome.
Everything great, staff excellent, couldn't do enough for you.
