Perfect location, excellent room but extremely noisy!!!!

This is the first time I've stayed in a Holiday Inn and the experience was far from enjoyable. There was a party on and even though I booked a long time ago, we were put in the first room closest to reception where we could here the music and all the party goers walking past our door without any consideration to other guests. At least Premier Inn has the "good night sleep" policy where you're given your money back if you had a bad night without cause of your own. All we got here was a "sorry" from the receptionist, which is not enough the morning after when the damage was already done. Never again a Holiday Inn for us.
