Supposed to be a superior double room. NOT

Pros: The staff
Cons: Showering facilities. More space for tea making
Location: Poor location with nothing to do nearby
Needed. Lot of TLC No air conditioning and unable to open windows. Poor shower

Nicest hotel in Barnstaple

Pros: The room and the meal in the bistro.
Cons: Noise from the traffic and passers by on the road at the front of the hotel. Infrequent, but annoying.
Location: Nice thriving town, hotel location right on the riverside. We enjoyed a nice walk along the south west coast path to Braunston.
I stayed here for two nights and thought it was excellent. The reception team were freindly and helpful, the room was clean and recently refurbished to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities in the room were first class. We ate in the bistro and found the staff very freindly, and the service was very good. The meal was fantastic, and overall the whole experience was lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barnstaple.
