Good location near to Bath. Very comfortable beds, great breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Lovely hotel

Fab stay at the Bailbrook. Couldn’t fault a thing! Loved the room, staff couldn’t do enough for you and hotel location was great. Really enjoyed the food we had, the cocktails were lovely aswell! Would love to stay there again one day

The only negative thing i have to say is the website shows the rooms you stay in to be a lot bigger than they acfually are ours was quite small . Everything else about our stay was excellant .

Short break

A perfect venue for a short break. Hotel was clean, tidy and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great, lots on offer. Only a short bus ride into to town, or If you’d rather use a cab service the hotel staff were more than happy to arrange one for you. Very pleasant experience and would definitely stay again.

Lovely and quiet

Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast is a little chaotic when there are parties in the adjoining suites.
Location: Loads to do in Bath, Roman baths, the abbey, Christmas market
We spent 2 nights at the Bailbrook Hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary. Our room was in the modern wing - Bailbrook Court rather than the old part of the house, but the room was comfortable and clean. The ensuite bathroom was clean and adequate although did have a strange smell, and the bath was a little narrow and short so you had to sit upright , but the shower was good. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning quiet and not noticeable. Breakfast was good, the only downside was when there was a party and everyone turned up late for breakfast there weren’t enough staff to clear and relay the tables as well as serve the diners. We were disappointed that we were unable to have dinner in the Cloisters restaurant until 9.00 p.m. even though we booked over a month beforehand, and the menu was very limited. The staff in the restaurant were not very attentive and we had to pour our own wine, and the cheese and biscuits platter came with 4 tiny biscuits and when we asked for more were given 2 more, even though there were 4 very generous portions of cheese. We would happily stay here again, but would eat in Bath rather than in the hotel. The hotel is a couple of miles outside Bath and as parking is virtually impossible in Bath the bus takes you from outside the hotel into the city centre and is every 12 minutes. Overall a nice comfortable hotel.

Top class hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: High standards throughout.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Explore the wonderful city of Bath which is steeped in history.
Excellent very comfortable hotel with walk in shower in the bathrooms. Good food and excellent service. Highly recommended.high standards.
