Was a lovely 2 nite stay outside of Bath. Bus is a 3 min walk away, so no parking prices to pay. As you come down the hill to property turn slightly left before the toll bridge and exit same entrance. Good variety of meals in restaurant. Would stay again.

Clean room nice setting, however annex looks like portacabins, though room was same as if in hotel. Not big but adequate. Breakfast was typical continental. Waitress was hard working and kept everything going. Had difficulty understanding the first receptionist and not sure what type of establishment requires a deposit on card after room had been paid in advance.

Beautiful room. Lovely and clean. Staff were friendly a check in was quick and easy. Parking was very handy. The breakfast was basic but considering what I paid for the room with breakfast included, the food was adequate. Nice range of teas and teapots!

Breakfast was disappointing. The croissant was hard, as if it had been left out for too long. There was no warm food available, and the boiled egg was ice cold, as though it had just come from the fridge. There was also no coffee machine, and the glass I was given had an unpleasant smell, suggesting it hadn’t been properly washed.

It is a quaint old hotel just outside Bath. Some renovations have been done. Rooms are clean and modern enough. The bathroom could do with some mould remover. Fridge didnt work at all, even after having someone look at it. Continental breakfast was ample. Staff friendly.

Luckily I was upgraded to a better room . But the whole place is very run down The breakfast area had broken old furniture. The breakfast very minimal. The staff worked very hard as it was obviously undermanned The grounds very un kept . The water mill not working I came here 2 years ago , the sitting area upstairs was exactly the same . Old run down minimal. Such a shame as it’s in a superb location. Afraid I won’t be going back till it’s upgraded

Overall our stay was ok. However the hotel does currently have staff shortages and the restaurant is closed. Appearance's are everything and the hotel does look a little tired and could do with a revamp. Our room was clean and tidy but bath enamel was chipped a showed ugly black marks. We only stayed one night and don’t think we will be back anytime soon

The property is surrounded by nature, the garden is very beautiful, and the area is very quiet. The staff was very helpful and nice. There is a nearby pub for dining, and the property offers breakfast. The breakfast options include hot drinks, cereals, eggs, cheese, ham, bread and pastries. The room is very clean and beautifully furnished.Very convenient to get to Bath but I wish I spent more time in the area around the hotel!
