Stayed here several times because it is very convenient and reasonably priced for the purpose. Previous occasions very good, although on the last, not so. Could tell I was the room change from the earlier guest! Unusually, waited an HOUR for a meal. Not busy. Still the very good quality when it arrived, but if not prompted, would it have arrived at yet??

Conveniently located for our purpose. Hotel was good and suitable for our two night stay after visiting friends, returning to old stamping ground and undertaking a few other tasks. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning working, with an adequate room temperature. Tea/Coffee facilities. The shower did leak into the bathroom, but not a major problem and there was no room service but staff happily provided tea/coffee restocks when asked. Key didn't work second day, but again resolved easily. Had meal one night. Very good selection and the food was nice, hot and reasonable for the quality and price.

The Ramada is located within the busiest roadside services I’ve ever witnessed. Utter chaos outside with people, cars and trucks squeezing through tight spaces. The hotel is also old, the rooms are basic and everywhere smells of smoke. We complained about our room/cell (!) but the hotel was somehow full and there weren’t any other rooms. I’m not convinced that another room would have been any different. How a place like this still exists in 2021 is a mystery to me. The message really is avoid at all costs.

For a UK hotel (notoriously expensive / poor service / quality) this one at 44 a night was quite good, especially as it was only a 2 pound bus ride from the terminal (yes, go through Starbucks, through the car park and down a lane 100 metres and there is the bus stop - buses every 20 mins or so - Only complaint was that the air-con heater was nt able to heat the room sufficiently and not enough warm bedding - lights were poor design too...otherwise good
