Was very impressed with the room quality. An extra bed was prepared in advance of our arrival. The room was great. However, the breakfast was quite standard with everything in place, however, the hash browns were a little harder than they should be, and didn't quite have the usual taste, not sure why. Otherwise, staff were amazingly helpful.

Breakfast was good, they cleared tables but didn't always clean them, which was a shame. Parking is good but then there is a walk along an alleyway between the hotel and the bowling venue. It seems safe but could be daunting if on your own.

I only met the reception staff and those serving breakfast and they were very nice. My husband was very annoyed that the knives were too blunt to cut his orange at breakfast time. His bad mood bothered me more than the knives bothered him! The TV was pixilating especially on the channels lower in the list. Mentioned it to reception when we left so didn't bother me too much. Mentioned also that the stair carpet had come loose but next time I came down the stairs it had been fixed. One of the lifts was out of action but I use the stairs anyway and my husband was able to use the other lift.
