It's a little dated and tired and could be very nice but lots of things were off - door handles loose, loo roll holder hanging off, no sockets by the bed (essential in this day and age no?) The hotel is in a very good location with ample free parking. The room and bathroom were large and clean with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. The staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. The hotel is somewhat dated and does look like it could benefit from some renovations but i believe it is under new ownership and so hopefully this will be done. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel needs a spruce up in places and basic. However still great value for the price paid. Staff go out if their way to check your stay is enjoyable. Easy access to Brighton sea front - 30 min walk or few stops on bus with bus stop directly outside property. Fred parking was a massive bonus for trip to Brighton for the day.

The hotel is ok for a stopover. Decor and upkeep needs some tlc. Breakfast ok. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to the city centre. National express stops outside. Basic English breakfast buffet of the usual. A choice of eggs would be good. In general not bad value of the stay.

Lots of outside noise til late in the night. The shower only ran cold water and the plug didn’t fit the plug hole in the bath. Breakfast was okay and staff were lovely. If you are willing to tolerate the above then its a cheap option for staying in Brighton with free parking and very close to Preston park parkrun.
