Everywhere was clean and well maintained. But the lift door on the ground floor for some reason has been badly painted silver, just very random when everywhere else is ok

Very disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Reported a dirty sink the first day and requested housekeeping services and they never turned up. I Ended up cleaning the bathroom myself. Dirty cloths were also left in the bedroom on day two. Reported this to front of house staff and was advised to send an email to the team which I did. I got a generic response back and the email was sign by [insert name here]. That’s how generic the response was’, they didn’t even have the respect to change the name at the bottom of the email. No really acknowledgement of my concerns and resolution of the issues flagged. I would advise to stay somewhere else. The only perk is the proximity to the train station. Have stayed here before this trip but don’t think I will return again.

I've stayed at the hotel before and pleased with everything so decided, as I was back for a family gettogether, to stay at the hotel again. Handy for train and airport bus. The room, both times, both times comfortable and clean. I would have liked to have had a safe in the room to store passport and other things. My son and his wife stayed at the hotel with me on our previous visit to Bristol and were very satisfied with everything.

The staff was so wonderful and helpful. The hotel is older/dated, but clean and comfortable. It’s very close to the train station and walking distance to the bus station. The neighbourhood was safe even when coming back late at night. Many amenities nearby.
