Lovely place. Highlights are the rooms which have a/c and the pool which was quiet and a nice temperature. Staff were good people. Room was good although shower went hot and cold every few seconds. Could not maintain a warm or hot shower. This could be a big problem in the winter. Overall very nice stay. !!

Good Hotel, needs a little updating.

Pros: The friendly & helpful staff. The location which was v.tranquil & despite being at the end of a 'cul de sac' seemed private.
Cons: Disappointing not to have a jacuzzi in the spa. Bathrooms needs to be updated & pillow choice would be great as pillows v. hard.
Location: Great location close to many things, we visited Windsor Castle, Hampton Court & wonderful Sculpture Park in Churt.
Bank holiday weekend stay & despite there being 2 weddings on was still peaceful & staff were still attentive & pleasant. Lovely hotel, was strange as you enter via a residential cul de sac but when there due to the amount of trees etc it seem v. private & tranquil setting. Had lovely afternoon tea & breakfast was good & happy to make special eggs order etc. Bit slow on filling up the hot food but quality good. Had standard room, decor bit old fashioned & bathrooms could do with updating but overall OK. Gym looked good but Spa/pool area was compact & just OK & no jacuzzi!

Very Good Hotel

Stayed 1 night. Charming hotel in old style adapted building with good amenities. Lovely quiet setting with landscaped gardens. Did not try restaurants, WiFi (hence given 4 above as default) or other amenities as dined out and breakfasted elsewhere. Wash basin water draining was slow moving but not too much of a solitary problem. Reception and staff helpful

Nice hotel and ground.....

Nice hotel and grounds.... Service was very slow and poor in restaurant and bar for food. Food was ok but some of my parties food was a bit tasteless... Considering the price service could be improved.
