The overall services are good and the two front desk staff Ms. Watawan and Ms. Ness are super helpful and nice, give me free check-out extension due to last minute need from my son.

We stayed here one night to visit the cathedral, and I would stay here again! The staff was so helpful and attentive, the room was comfortable, and the location is great for dining spots and walking to the cathedral. The rooftop bar next door, which (at the time we went) gave discounts to hotel guests, has amazing night views of the cathedral!

Customer service is amazing , special thanks to Louise who went out of her way to resolve the issue with our room booking - the room originally given to us was different from what we believed to have booked based on the picture. Dear Hampton Team, Thank you for your hospitality during my recent stay. I truly appreciate the effort put into maintaining clean and comfortable rooms—it made my stay pleasant in many ways. However, I’d like to kindly mention that the noise level, particularly the loud music that continued until almost midnight, made it difficult for me to sleep. As a guest who values a quiet environment for rest, this was quite disruptive. I completely understand that entertainment is part of the guest experience, but I would sincerely appreciate it if future noise levels could be managed, especially during late hours, to ensure all guests can relax undisturbed. Thank you for considering my feedback, and I hope to have another opportunity to stay with you under more peaceful conditions. Best regards, Katya

Check in was fine, until the breakfast was explained, told i cant come and eat between 0830 and 0930, as booked, but i can eat at 0800. I dont eat that early, was also told if im running late, to inform reception. So, i didnt have breakfast all the 3 mornings, i dont eat by the clock. Sunday morning, approx 0930, a vile smell started, looking out of hotel window, a slurry truck was cleaning out drains or sewage, this happening righg below my window and the vile smell coming into my room, windows cannot be opened, but any smell like that can make its way in. A rush to get out, not putting up with that. If staying at weekend, dont get the 2nd floor and an even number room! Will i return? No.

A very happy stay.

Great location and while parking is a few minutes walk away and at a special rate of £25 per day the proximity to restaurants etc was great. Complimentary breakfast each morning was really appreciated and the staff were by far the most pleasant staff I have ever met in any hotel, and I have stayed in a lot. The day started with the extremely cheerful and welcoming Robbie and Poppy at breakfast and desk staff friendly and welcoming.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. The room was ready so we got to check in early which was a bonus. Brilliant breakfast with wide variety. Room & hotel clean & comfortable. Right in the centre of Canterbury, would definitely stay again
